A nature lover, humanist and altruist, Stéphanie has always dreamed of going on an
adventure to help the less fortunate in other parts of the world.
She discovered the world of music when she was eight years old, with her first piano
lessons. They were like a bolt of lightning for the young Stéphanie. Today, her voice and
talent leaves no one indifferent. At the auditions for Star Académie, she enchanted the
jury; after her time at the Académie, she seduced the public. Her emotional and touching
performances earned her the admiration of the viewers, who voted her the grand winner of
Star Académie 2004.
Along with the other academy participants, Stéphanie came away from the Tournée
Star Académie 2004 more experienced and ready to move on to new adventures. In the
fall of 2004, she made her debut on the small screen in the television series Le
négociateur, on TVA. Her songs L'infidèle and Si fragile have earned her accolades
and have been playing constantly on radios since their release.
In addition to working on her upcoming album,
her numerous public appearances and her involvement in causes she
holds dear to her heart, Stéphanie is now concentrating on her next
role for the big screen. She will play Marie-Anne Caron, the biological
mother of Aurore, in the upcoming movie by Luc Dionne and Denise
