In March 2008, two great challenges will be achieved - the collection of funds for CARE's humanitarian emergencies and development projects, and the climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. During this 10-day ascension, the climbers and ambassadors of CARE will overcome these two grand challenges while realizing their personal dreams. "Ordinary people achieving extraordinary things." The fundraising goal in 2008 is $150,000, a sum as ambitious as the challenge to reach the top of the highest summit in Africa. With your donation, you will be contributing to CARE Canada's vital development work, as well as to the humanitarian work that is critical when natural disaster and conflict strike.
